About Me
As an English and Technical Communications major at Iowa State University, I hope to graduate in 2025 having mastered the art of writing, editing, and communicating. "Hopefully, mastered."

I love reading mystery and historical fiction. (Don't tell anyone but I am a nerd for romance too). I also write my own stories and create my own journal designs with hopes of becoming a published author. I just love books and find pride in the work that goes into making them.
After graduation I plan to make a career in the publishing industry. There are many jobs in that particular field, but I would love to be an editor. It would be the perfect dream to help others put their imagination to work and on paper.

In the next ten years I will be working towards having a startup publishing business. The goal is to take local authors and offer them affordable editing and book printing prices. And maybe someday own a bookstore afterward..

Literature has been a big part of my life for nearly five years now. In high school, I wrote short stories and submitted them for scholarships. Then after high school, I went to college, taking many classes focused on creative writing, revision, rhetoric, and communication.

Aside from school, I have been a beta reader for some time. I love giving writers feedback on their work. I am also consistently editing and proofreading authors' works and the work of my academic peers.

I stay up to date with book trends on social media and in bookstores. I design my journals using Amazon KDP and sell them through social media. I have worked with various texts, like fantasy, romance, and historical fiction. I easily adapt to author needs with experience revising memoirs, children's books, short stories, and academic pieces.
